Collections Management Training Program Bosnia & Herzegovina

Fionn Zarubica Learn in cooperation with The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, is offering an intensive six-week Collections Management training program.

The Collections Management Training Program provides education and training in the contemporary profession of Museum Collections Management, an emerging profession originating in the U.S. Essential to the furtherance of a vibrant professional arts presence in a present-day context, its focus is a contemporary and practical approach to the care, management and presentation of art and cultural heritage, development, education and outreach. It can play an important role in the protection of cultural treasures as well as contribute to a reenergized economy through significant cultural outreach, both locally and internationally.

Zoran Perišić, rođen 16. marta 1940. godine u Zemunskoj bolnici, a odrastao u Prokuplju.
Filmski i televizijski reditelj, majstor vizuelnih efekata, producent i scenarista, pisac stručnih knjiga koje koriste studenti širom sveta, dobitnik Oskara, majstor za razvoj vizuelnih efekata, dobio je Zlatnu statuu Američke akademije za film 1971. godine za svoj izum, specijalni efekat "zoptik" primenjen u filmu "Supermen" Ričarda Donera. U radu na specijalnim efektima već je stekao reputaciju kada ga je angažovao Stenli Kjubrik i uvrstio u ekipu filma "Odiseja 2001".

Residents of Heaven

An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons

Residents of Heaven is a book of Icons by Father Stamatis Skliris which were prepared for "An Exhibit of Byzantine and Modern Orthodox Icons" held at the "David Allan Hubbard Library, Fuller Theological Seminary" in Pasadena, California, June 10 - July 5, 2010.

The iconographer, V. Rev. Stamatis Skliris, attended the opening of the exhibit with His Grace, Bishop Maxim who gave the Introduction. The mounting of the display was done by Jasminka Gabrie and the staff of the Fuller Library. The opening event was organized by Dr. William Dyrness, Director of the Visual Faith Institute, Brehm Center for Worship, Theology and the Arts, Fuller Seminary.
