Dani srpske medicinske dijaspore 2013.

U periodu od 03 - 04. oktobra 2013. godine, u Beogradu i Nišu biće održana konferencija DANI SRPSKE MEDICINSKE DIJASPORE 2013. Na programu su sledeći kursevi u simpozijumi:

Sofija Knezevic

Born 02.04.1990. in Belgrade, Serbia. Coming from an artistic family Knezevic( famous painters ). After 2 years at the music school `Dr.Vojislav Vuckovic` they transferred her as a very talented young student to the school `Mokranjac`where she graduated in the class of professor Jasna Vukasovic at the Classical Piano Performance department,as well as the department for Theory in Music in the class of Professor Radmila Starcevic. Since she was always interested in Jazz, together with graduating at those two departments in Mokranjac she was attending another high school program at the Jazz Singing department in `Stankovic`. She was awarded the title of The Best Pianist among all the candidates from countries of Eastern Europe when she finished the exams for the final year of regular elementary school in ahead of schedule – in one month total – because she has enrolled secondary music school "Mokranjac" in the previous year. That`s why she was already 1 year ahead of her class. On the IQ test, and Musical IQ test she was the only one with the above average for the regular IQ, and one of 2 people with above average results for the Musical IQ.

Welcome to the Sebastian Press Publishing House of the Western Diocese!

Founded in 2006 and named in honor of a first American born Orthodox priest, Fr. Sebastian Dabovic, a pioneer of the Orthodox Church in the West, Sebastian Press is one of the largest and most active publishers of Christian Orthodox publications on the West Coast.

Our hard working staff seeks to fruitfully enrich and deepen the faith of Christians from all over the world with a variety of titles, embracing a diversity of Orthodox Traditions, while also presenting the works of Serbian theologians.

Sebastian Press is building its reputation for promoting high quality theological, historical, ecclesiastical, spiritual, hagiographical, iconographical, philosophical and patristic writings in its repertoire. Also, due to growing demand, we are giving special attention to the publishing of new titles for children, teens, and families, including video and audio programs.

The primary mission of Sebastian Press is to motivate and inspire its readers to seek a deeper union with the God-Man, through the written word of Orthodox Christian material, both on the scholarly and popular level, and to give glory to the life-giving Trinity.

Sebastian Press is located in Los Angeles, at the headquarters of the Western Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
