Film Ivane Todorović u ponudi onlajn kanala „Njujork tajmsa”

Kratki dokumentarni film „A Harlem Mother” Ivane Todorović nalazi se u ponudi onlajn kanala „Njujork tajmsa” i može se besplatno pogledati.

Reč je o ostvarenju naše rediteljke, poznate po socijalno angažovanim filmovima, koje oslikava sudbinu osamnaestogodišnjeg Latrona Parkera, autora dokumentarnog filma o teškom odrastanju u Harlemu 1998, a koji je osam godina kasnije ubijen na ulici. Danas se njegova majka Džin kroz svoju organizaciju „Harlem Mothers SAVE” bori protiv oružanog nasilja među mladima i pomaže drugim roditeljima da se nose sa bolom gubitka.

Film je snimala, režirala i producirala Ivana Todorović, montirala Tijana Petrović, snimatelj zvuka je David Guiteirez Camps, autor muzike je Janko Radosavljević, dizajn postera je delo Nebojše Petrovića. Ovaj film imao je premijeru u bioskopu Alberta Mejzelsa u Harlemu, prikazan je na brojnim festivalima i dobio je nekoliko nagrada.

Inače, film je i završni rad Ivane Todorović na katedri za dokumentarni film na „The New School” Univerzitetu u Njujorku.

Nikola Moravčević

Nikola Moravčević (Cyrillic: Никола Моравчевић) is a University Professor, Critic and academic writer. He was born in Zagreb, (Yugoslavia) in a family of Serbian officer of Yugoslav Royal Army on December 10, 1935.

After he completed undergraduate studies at the Academy for Theatre Arts at the University of Belgrade in 1955, he moved to the United States. After three years of service in the U.S. Army, he continued his Graduate studies, obtaining a magisterial degree in Theatrical Directing from the School of Theatre Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1961, and in 1964 a doctoral degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
